I'm Allen Zhao, a bilingual (English/Mandarin) sports photographer and videographer based in New York City. I fell in love with sports photography while managing social media in the NBA for the Washington Wizards and New York Knicks, and it shaped how I shoot — always chasing the moment that tells the story, not just the play. I work fast, deliver clean and consistent visuals under real deadlines, and I'm as comfortable behind the camera as I am thinking through the strategy around it.
What sets me apart is the bridge I build between cultures. With real relationships across Chinese-market athletes and brands, I help clients tell stories that land on both sides of the Pacific. Whether it's courtside coverage, a brand campaign, or a content plan built from scratch, the goal is always the same: work that feels authentic, moves fast, and connects.
